Bombshell Congressional COVID Report Released

KRMC, Burley and Bishop got it wrong, citizen critics vindicated

Four years after the dystopian pandemic nightmare was unleashed upon America by power-hungry vax-o-crats and junk science tyrants, the US House has released a damning, and detailed investigative report that reveals the critics and skeptics were right all along.

A bi-partisan congressional investigative report confirms that almost everything the so called experts said about COVID 19 origins, lock downs, masks, vaccines, and government overreach was wrong, vindicating countless legitimate health care professionals as well as lay persons who tried to bring sanity to an insane chapter in world history.

On December 4th,the House Select Subcommittee on the Coronavirus Pandemic made public a 520-page final report regarding its two-year investigation regarding “the origins of the Coronavirus Pandemic,” the “Efficacy, Effectiveness, and Transparency of the Use of Taxpayer Funds and Relief Programs” which addressed, “the implementation or effectiveness” of federal laws or regulations that were “applied, enacted, or under consideration” to address the “pandemic”, as well as “the development of vaccines and treatments” during the “pandemic”.

Committee Chairman Rep. Brad Wenstrup (R-OH) wrote in the Report, After Action Review of the COVID-19 Pandemic: The Lessons Learned and a Path Forward, “Since February 2023, the Select Subcommittee sought to produce a full after-action report to provide a road map of how we, in Congress, the Executive, and the private sector may better prepare for and respond to future pandemics,” and “Throughout this process, the Select Subcommittee sent more than 100 investigative letters, conducted 38 transcribed interviews or depositions, held 25 hearings or meetings, and reviewed more than one million pages of documents from dozens of custodians.”

The Report highlights critical findings regarding the origin of SARS-CoV-2. It states there is strong evidence that it emerged due to a laboratory accident at the Wuhan Institute of Virology (WIV) and not from bat soup.

According to the Report, the National Institutes of Health (NIH) funded gain-of-function research at the WIV, which may have contributed to the emergence of the pandemic. Former Director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases Dr. Anthony Fauci had a role in downplaying the lab leak theory and covered up facts.

It was determined that Dr. Peter Daszak and EcoHealth Alliance should never again receive U.S. taxpayer funds, given they engaged in obstruction, misleading public statements, and document tampering.

The Report identified significant failures which plagued the government’s response, including rampant fraud, waste, and abuse. Also, public health officials mischaracterized scientific information, leading to public mistrust.

The Report found that it was “apparent” that the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) “and the Biden Administration cherry-picked observational data to fit their narrative that masks are fully effective.”

“Yet, that is not the role of the CDC,” the Report stated. “The CDC is an agency meant to protect the American people, and part of that responsibility includes conducting, sponsoring, or at the very least examining clinical trials to actually have the best available research before formulation its guidance.”

The report went on to conclude that “one area” where masking caused actual harm was with the masking of “all students (age two and older), staff, teachers, and visitors to K-12 schools”:

Also, pandemic-era school closures were not justified by scientific evidence and had a lasting negative

impact on children’s education, increased mental health issues, and worsened physical health.

Regarding the Committee’s findings that “Social distancing was one of the most consequential policies of the COVID-19 pandemic,” what many vocal Mohave County residents had been saying was acknowledged, “the six-foot social distancing requirement was not supported by science.” The Mohave County Board of Supervisors finally had the social distancing signs removed from the doors of the County Administration Building earlier this year.

The Report noted that during a 2024 public hearing, Dr. Fauci admitted “that the six-foot rule for social distancing was not supported by quality scientific standards” and had “attempted to further distance himself from the issue by stating the decision making of this policy implementation was the responsibility of the CDC.”

The excuse for social distancing was “it sort of just appeared.” The Report adds that there were no scientific trials or studies conducted before this policy was implemented, there appeared to be no push back or internal discussion amongst the highest level of leadership, and more importantly there appears to be no acceptance of responsibility.

The Report also states that “vaccine mandates were not supported by science and caused more harm than good”. In a press release from the Committee, it was noted that “contrary to what was promised, the COVID-19 vaccine did not stop the spread or transmission of the virus.” The Report noted that “herd immunity is a real concept and occurrence supported by public health leaders”, however “there was a coordinated effort from public health officials to ignore natural immunity.”

In Mohave County things were no different. 2020 County Board Chairman Wilma Jean Bishop, who is also President of the Mohave County Board of Health, declared an emergency before there were any cases of COVID-19 but right after the announcement was made that the federal government would begin distributing “pandemic” relief funds. Bishop, along with then Health Director Denise Burley, swallowed whole every junk science recommendation now debunked by this new Report.

Subsequently, a veteran was removed from a Board meeting for not wearing a mask, and others were threatened with arrest by Sheriff’s deputies for attempting to attend a meeting “free faced”. Supervisors Buster Johnson and Travis Lingenfelter joined the tyranny and proposed banning citizens from their constitutional right to criticize elected officials and County employees. With Bishop’s blessing, Burley processed over 200 complaints against Mohave County businesses for allegedly not complying with mandates, and formal investigations against were opened. Blondies Restaurant in Lake Havasu City later sued the County after being shut down for providing “car hop” service, and received an undisclosed out of court settlement. It was a dark and shameful time in Mohave County history.

With the federal Medicare and Medicaid gravy train rolling, KRMC quickly adopted the draconian mandates and guidelines as “standard of care”, and were well compensated under the CARES Act per patient at the rate of roughly $13,000 per patient diagnosed with the virus, $39,000 per patient placed on a ventilator.

All five of the federal COVID-19 gene therapy “vaccine” mandates are now overturned, rescinded, or otherwise ended, but their consequences continue on. The mandates caused people to lose their livelihoods, significantly reduced our healthcare and education workforce, harmed military readiness and recruitment, trampled individual liberty and bodily autonomy, deepened political division, diminished trust in public health, and interfered in the doctor-patient relationship. The mandates ignored natural immunity, stratification of risk from the virus, and the risk of adverse events. All while federal health officials misled the public with statements like “the pandemic of unvaccinated.”

Additionally, the Vaccine Adverse Events Reporting System (VAERS) was determined by the Committee to be inadequate and not transparent in reporting potential side effects.

In light of this comprehensive bi-partisan congressional Report, some might come to the conclusion that the “pandemic” was essentially a medical violence and hospital homicide crime scene, the government conspired with big tech and mainstream media to commit psychological warfare, and the entire corporate media was nothing but an organized cabal of liars and profiteers...”brought to you by Pfizer”!

Hunter Biden’s Pardon Backlash

By Mark Fargo

So whats the big deal with President Joe Biden pardoning his son? Why did he do it after years of denial? What are the future ramifications of his actions? Let's break it down.

On December 1st Joe Biden gave an unprecedented blanket pardon to his son, Hunter. The pardon gave Hunter full clemency for any and all federal crimes he may have committed from January 1st, 2014 through December 1st, 2024.

And for four years Joe Biden vowed he would do no such thing. He is on record promising the American people he would definitely not pardon his son and would accept any punishment the courts deemed appropriate.

So what changed? Many radio and conservative news pundits claim there is much more behind the scenes than just a father looking out for his son.

First, the legality of the pardon. Under Article II, section 2 of the U.S. Constitution, presidents have the unlimited power to pardon anyone they see fit. These pardons cannot be challenged or undone and cover any past or present federal convictions or cases. Federal crimes...that's the caveat. Presidential pardons have no effect on state level crimes, more on that later.

Many in the media think this was just a political stunt by Biden to thumb his nose at President-elect Donald Trump. Many have also claimed that this is an attempt by President Biden to protect himself from future prosecution for potential federal crimes committed by he and/or his son while in office and as Vice-President.

However, the move might just backfire in Biden's face. As previously mentioned, federal pardons only protect the pardoned from federal prosecution. State and local prosecutions are still on the table.

According to findlaw.com, “President Biden's pardon covers federal offenses – except cases of impeachment – and state offenses are beyond the reach of President Biden's pardon. Therefore, if state prosecutors have sufficient grounds to charge Hunter Biden with a crime, they can bring charges in a court of law”.

There are other legal ramifications of the pardon that may prove uncomfortable for the entire Biden family. Prior to the pardon, if hunter was called to testify in court or before congress against any member of his family, including the 'Big Guy', he could simply “plead the 5th”, protecting himself against self-incrimination. Now, though, since Hunter has blanket clemency, the protection the 5th Amendment would have given him is basically redundant and a moot point.

Even the members of the Democratic Party lambasted Biden for this unusual move.

According to usatoday.com Michigan's democratic Sen. Gary Peters said “President Biden's decision to pardon his son was wrong”, he continues, “A president's family and allies shouldn't get special treatment” and that “This was an improper use of power, it erodes trust in our government, and it emboldens others to bend justice to suit their interests”.

And, from his post on X, Democratic Senator Michael Bennet wrote that “President Biden's decision put personal interest ahead of duty and further erodes Americans' faith that the justice system is fair and equal for all”.

The Shadow Cabinet

Democrat proposes British style opposition

Democrat Wiley Nickel, representing North Carolina’s 13th District in the U.S. House of Representatives, penned an op-ed published in the Washington Post suggesting that his fellow Democrats on Capitol Hill form a “shadow cabinet” in response to President Trump's cabinet picks.

"They watch the Cabinet closely, publicly challenging, scrutinizing and offering new ideas", Nickel wrote in his op-ed. "It’s democracy’s insurance policy. And it strengthens the government, too: There is no room for lazy ideas when rivals stand ready."

A shadow cabinet is a team from the opposition party that mirrors the cabinet members of the incoming ruling party. This hypothetical shadow cabinet would have a point person for every cabinet position to challenge their counterpart in the legitimate Senate approved Trump administration Cabinet. It’s an institutionalized political tool of opposition in the UK and Canada, but will Democrats use it to undermine Trump’s “America First” agenda?

"We need new ideas", Nickel told FOX News LiveNOW's Andy Mac in a recent interview. "Democrats have to stop playing defense and start going on offense. It’s not enough to say we’re against Trump and his Project 2025 agenda. We have to say what we’re for, and that’s what’s really behind this idea, to get folks there to counter every cabinet agency, every position that Trump appoints."

Nickel suggested that U.S. House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries and Senate leader Chuck Schumer could appoint 26 Democratic members of Congress to go "one-on-one" with each member of Trump’s Cabinet.

"It’s really easy", Nickel quipped. "It’s a communications push. It’s about putting out our positive message to counter what we’re seeing from Trump. And if Trump or his Cabinet secretaries step out of line we’ve got somebody ready to go and answer, and be accountable to the American people on things we care about."

Nickel has already begun to lay out a dream team shadow cabinet that could potentially be appointed after Trump takes office on January 20th:

Senator-elect Adam Schiff, D-Calif. – Shadow Attorney General

Rep. Adam Smith, D-Wash. – Shadow Defense Secretary

Rep. Suzan Delbene, D-Wash. – Shadow Commerce Secretary

Rep. Rosa Delauro, D-Conn. – Shadow Health and Human Services Secretary

Rep. Jahana Hayes, D-Conn. – Education Secretary

Rep. Gregory W. Meeks, D-N.Y. – Shadow Secretary of State

Sen. Michael Bennet, D-Colo. – Shadow Treasury Secretary

Sen. Tammy Duckworth, D-Ill. – Shadow Veterans Affairs Secretary

Rep. Kathy Castor, D-Fla. – Shadow Environmental Protection Agency administrator

"This is about putting a point person for advocacy groups, for the public, a lead messenger … we need to organize our opposition", Nickel told Mac. "We can do our own American version of a shadow cabinet that will help Democrats do the thing we didn’t do, which is get out our positive message and talk about the things that folks are rightly concerned about."

Will the idea catch on? We will have to wait and see.

OHV Training Mandated

Online course now required for registration

Owners registering off-highway vehicles (OHVs) will be required to take an online safety course, as required by a new state law that takes effect on January 1st.

The free course, created by Arizona Game and Fish Department (AZGFD), will include content related to the safe operations of these vehicles. The educational course consists of a 10-minute instructional video followed by 20 multiple-choice questions. This course will be required one time for at least one of the OHV owners prior to vehicle registrations or renewals between Jan. 1, 2025, and June 1, 2027.

The Arizona Department of Transportation Motor Vehicle Division and AZGFD are partnering to offer this safety course online. Arizona residents will be able to complete the course through AZMVDNOW.gov, the online portal for motor vehicle services in Arizona as well as MVD office locations across the state. Non-residents will be able to take the course online at AZGFD.gov.

MVD’s online portal is a natural fit to host the training for Arizona residents, as the customer will be able to take the course as well as complete the registration renewal process conveniently and securely in one online location.

The 2025 and beyond OHV decals placed on the vehicle will indicate to law enforcement that the owner has successfully completed the course and the vehicle is legally registered.

If a business has OHVs registered to it, a representative from the business will need to take the course on the business' AZ MVD Now account.

This is a pilot program and per the fact sheet for the original legislation, Senate Bill 1567, the program will sunset on June 1, 2027. ADOT will be required to submit a report regarding the results of implementing the OHV Safety Education Course program.

KUSD Audit Compliance

AZ Auditor General issues update

In the MFP October issue, we reported that earlier this year the Arizona Auditor General sent a letter to the Kingman Unified School District Governing Board notifying them that “the District has not complied with the USFR and applicable State and federal requirements regarding audit report submission. Additionally, the District has been in noncompliance with the USFR since July 2023 based on our review of the significant deficiencies cited in the District’s audit reports and questionnaire for the year ended June 30, 2022.”

The Arizona Board of Education labeled KUSD as non compliant following its fiscal year 2022 audit, and was withholding 3% of state funding as a result.

According to the Uniform System of Financial Records for Arizona School Districts (USFR) the District was deficit spending and had numerous procedural errors allegedly made by a former finance employee.

On November 25th, the Auditor General sent a letter to the Board of Education, and KUSD, titled: “Kingman Unified School District—No Longer in Noncompliance with Uniform System of Financial Records for Arizona School Districts”.

The letter states, “We have since reviewed the District’s FY 2025 records and procedures as of October 2024. Based on our review of all available information, including the number and significance of the District’s outstanding deficiencies, the District is no longer in noncompliance with the USFR. Therefore, the Board can take appropriate action pursuant to Arizona Revised Statutes §15-272.

However, as noted in our November 21, 2024, email and discussion with District management, the

District continues to have some outstanding deficiencies, including 4 items that have not been corrected, 3 items that were partially corrected, and 1 item we were unable to test since the related requirement was not yet applicable.

Please be advised, the District must act to correct the outstanding deficiencies, and its future audit reports must reflect that these deficiencies have been corrected. The area containing the most significant deficiencies is Property Control, leaving District property susceptible to loss, theft, and misuse.”

Rancho Santa Fe Interchange

Construction Begins on 1 1/2 year project

The Arizona Department of Transportation, in coordination with the City of Kingman and the Federal Highway Administration, has begun construction of a new traffic interchange, that will in turn connect with a new roadway serving the east Kingman area on Interstate 40 (Exit 57) in east Kingman.

The Rancho Santa Fe Parkway interchange will be about 4 miles east of the existing historic Route 66 interchange (Andy Devine Avenue) and provide access to the growing area surrounding the Kingman Airport. The $44 million project is expected to take 1.5 years.

This project will accommodate future traffic volumes generated in the rapidly-growing east Kingman area and relieve congestion at the existing East Kingman interchange (Andy Devine Avenue/State Route 66, Exit 54).

The project will include:

Construct a new traffic interchange and two new bridges on I-40 at milepost 57.

Widening the existing bridges over Rattlesnake Wash.

Construct a four-lane street along Rancho Santa Fe Parkway, north of I-40, between I-40 and Santa Rosa Drive.

Construct a four-lane street along Rancho Santa Fe Parkway, south of I-40, between I-40 and Louise Avenue. This section will include bicycle lanes, sidewalks, curb and gutter and a raised center median.

The City of Kingman will construct a two-lane street along Rancho Santa Fe Parkway, north of I-40, between Grand Canyon Road and Industrial Boulevard connecting to the Kingman Municipal Airport.

During construction, the speed limit will be reduced in the work zones and motorists should expect construction to occur days and nights Monday through Thursdays, with work only occurring during daytime hours on Fridays. While ADOT will maintain two lanes of travel in each direction on I-40 throughout the project, drivers should anticipate delays of up to 20 minutes during certain activities. I-40 traffic will be detoured on the future Rancho Santa Fe interchange ramp alignment while crews construct the new bridges over Rancho Santa Fe.

For information about project-related restrictions and closures please visit az511.gov or call 511. To sign up for project-related traffic alerts and updates sent directly to your email inbox, please visit azdot.gov/I-40RanchoSantaFePkwayTI

Trump Campaign Promises

An America First Christmas wish list

“Promises made” but can they be kept, and will Congress cooperate this time? Here’s a review of the numerous promises that have Trump supporters excited.

Trump promised to repeal Biden’s tax hikes and extend cuts from his 2017 Tax Cuts and Jobs Act, notably the TCJA’s individual income tax breaks. He proposed reducing the corporate tax rate from 21%

to 15% for companies that make their products in the US.

Trump said he would push for legislation that would end taxes on overtime pay. "That gives people more of an incentive to work," He also pledged to stop taxing Social Security benefits, end taxes on tips, and get rid of the $10,000 limit on state and local tax (SALT) deductions.

Trump pledged to make the interest paid on car loans fully tax deductible. He also vowed to end the double taxation on Americans who live abroad.

Trump promised to rescind all unspent funds from Biden's Inflation Reduction Act, which funneled about $80 billion over 10 years to the IRS. To help “working Americans” catch up on debt, Trump promised to temporarily cap interest rates on credit cards at 10% to help Americans get out from under debt.

Trump has also vowed to stop “never-ending wars” by removing “warmongers”,“frauds”, and “failures in the senior ranks of government”, and he promised to stop lobbyists and government contractors from pushing senior military officials toward war.

Trump has also said he would restore his travel ban on individuals from countries known to harbor terrorists, after Biden overturned the ban in 2021.

Trump promised to hire 10,000 new Border Patrol agents, provide a 10% salary raise and offer a $10,000 retention and signing bonus, and he vowed to create a “compensation fund” for victims of crimes committed by illegal immigrants by using assets seized from gangs and drug cartels.

“We will shift massive portions of federal law enforcement to immigration enforcement — including parts of the DEA, ATF, FBI, and DHS”, Trump wrote in a Des Moines Register op-ed, and he also promised to “carry out the largest domestic deportation operation in American history”.

Trump pledged to impose “stiff penalties on China and other trade abusers”. And under his proposed “Trump Reciprocal Trade Act”, if other countries impose tariffs on the US, we would impose “a reciprocal, identical” tariff on them.

Trump proposes a four-year plan to phase out all Chinese imports of essential goods and restrict Chinese ownership of US infrastructure such as energy, technology, telecommunications and natural resources. Trump also said he would force the Chinese to sell current holdings that may put national security at risk.

Trump has also repeatedly expressed interest in ending the federal income tax, “When we were a smart country, in the 1890s … this is when the country was relatively the richest it ever was. It had all tariffs. It didn’t have an income tax”.

Trump would invoke the six-year renegotiation provision of the US-Mexico-Canada Agreement, which was signed into law as a replacement for NAFTA.

Trump promised that he would reinstate a 2020 executive order to remove “rogue” bureaucrats. “I will totally obliterate the Deep State”.

Trump wants a constitutional amendment for term limits on members of Congress.

Trump stated he would task the Justice Department with investigating online censorship, ban federal agencies from “colluding” to censor citizens and suspend federal money to universities participating in “censorship-supporting activities” and he would enact a seven-year cooling off period before employees at agencies such as the FBI or CIA can work for online platforms that oversee mass user data.

Trump plans to appoint conservative judges. "I will once again appoint rock-solid conservative judges to do what they have to do in the mold of Justices Antonin Scalia; Samuel Alito, a great gentleman; and another great gentleman, Clarence Thomas”, he said.

Trump would ask Congress to ensure that drug smugglers and human traffickers are eligible for the death penalty for their “heinous acts”, and he vowed to impose a “10-year mandatory minimum sentence

for anyone guilty of human smuggling, a guaranteed life sentence for anyone guilty of child trafficking, and a death penalty for anyone guilty of child or woman sex trafficking”.

Trump has also promised to “appoint U.S. Attorneys who will be the polar opposite of the Soros District Attorneys and others that are being appointed throughout the United States”.

Last year Trump announced that he would appoint a task force to review cases of people who had been “unjustly persecuted by the Biden administration”. Trump wants to “study the situation very quickly, and sign their pardons or commutations on day one”. The move could lead to pardons of many peaceful protestors from the January 6, 2021, tour of the Capitol Building. Additionally, he also promised to pardon Ross Ulbricht, the founder of the Silk Road website, who was prosecuted for content other people posted on his site.

“I will appoint a real special prosecutor to go after the most corrupt president in the history of the United States of America, Joe Biden, and the entire Biden crime family” Trump said last year.

Trump also said he would impose naval embargos on cartels, and cut off cartels’ access to global financial systems. Trump vowed to use the “Alien Enemies Act to remove known or suspected gang members, drug dealers, or cartel members from the United States”.

Trump said he would sign legislation requiring states to recognize a concealed carry permit from any jurisdiction, and “I will take Biden’s executive order directing the federal government to target the firearms industry, and I will rip it up and throw it out on day one”.

Trump has stated he would revoke Biden’s equity executive order. He has also promised to fire staffers hired to implement Biden’s policy, and reinstate his 2020 executive order banning racial and sexual stereotyping in the federal government.

Trump has promised to roll back new car rules at the EPA that could require EVs to account for up to two-thirds of new cars sold in the US by 2032. “On day one, I will terminate Joe Biden’s electrical vehicle mandate, and I will cancel every job-killing regulation that is crushing American autoworkers”.

Trump has promised to reduce energy prices by increasing domestic production, end delays in federal drilling permits and leases, remove limits on American natural gas exports, roll back some of Biden’s climate policies, as well as end offshore wind farms that may be harming whales and other marine life.

"If crypto is going to define the future, I want it to be mined, minted and made in the USA”, Trump said, adding that he would create a “strategic national bitcoin stockpile”. He also vowed to fire Securities and Exchange Commission Chair Gary Gensler, who has pushed to regulate the cryptocurrency industry.

Trump has vowed to spearhead an effort to build so-called “Freedom Cities” to “reopen the frontier, reignite American imagination, and give hundreds of thousands of young people and other people, all hardworking families, a new shot at home ownership and in fact, the American Dream”, meaning the federal government would charter 10 new cities on federal land, awarding them to areas with the best development proposals.

Trump said he would issue an executive order instructing federal agencies to cut programs that promote gender transitions, and ask Congress to stop the use of federal dollars to promote and pay for the procedures. Trump has stated his administration would not allow hospitals and health care providers to qualify for Medicaid and Medicare if they provide chemical or physical gender altering care to minors. “I will revoke every Biden policy promoting the chemical castration and sexual mutilation of our youth and ask Congress to send me a bill prohibiting child sexual mutilation in all 50 states”.

Trump plans to close the Department of Education and send “all education and education work and needs back to the states”. “We want them to run the education of our children, because they’ll do a much better job of it”, he added. Trump has also promised to fund free online classes with funds seized from private university endowments, and bring back the 1776 Commission to “teach our values and promote

our history and our traditions to our children”.

Trump vowed to “continue to focus on research to unlock the medical uses of marijuana to a Schedule 3 drug, and work with Congress to pass common sense laws, including safe banking for state authorized companies, and supporting states rights to pass marijuana laws, like in Florida, that work so well for their citizens.”

The Christmas Truce

By Tom Saluzzo, GreatWarsMuseum.org

In August of 1914 the World saw events spin out of control and the First World War erupted in Europe and spread to other areas of the globe. After months of bitter fighting the lines somewhat settled down and trench warfare began.

On Christmas Eve 1914 a rather interesting series of events began to unfold. A truce, completely unofficial in nature, began along along a portion of the front. It is believed the Germans started by placing candles along trenches and

making makeshift trees, then singing carols.

The British and to a far lesser extent the French began to reciprocate with their own Christmas carols. To be fair it was probably easier for the British to go along with such a thing as the French and Belgian troops were defending their

homelands.

After a short while flags of truce began to appear and both sides slowly emerged from the trenches and crossed into “no man’s land”. A number of things occurred in those few hours. Men exchanged food and drink. Tobacco and uniform pieces were swapped. The dead were collected and brought back for burial by their respective sides. One story tells of a British barber giving haircuts to German troops. All told it is estimated that over 100 thousand men from the opposing army’s took part in the truce.

Needless to say the leaders of both sides frowned deeply on these activities. To allow the enemy to be humanized was absolutely against all of the rules of conflict. Letters were sent out and the following year far fewer truces were to take place.

By 1916 the war had drug on long enough that no thought was given to any break in the action. Today we live in a world seemingly divided all the time with more focus on what makes us different than the same.

Perhaps this holiday season we can look back on those cold muddy trenches in France 110 years ago and honor those men and boys by trying to share some of the same spirit of peace and goodwill that they did.

Out with the old and in with the new? “The Eyes of all our Countrymen are now upon us, and we shall have their blessings, and praises, if happily we are the instruments of saving them from the Tyranny mediated against them.” - George Washington, General Orders, July 2, 1776

The winds of change are stirring in Washington DC and on January 20th they are expected to sweep across “the swamp” like hurricane Helene through North Carolina. On the federal level we have much tyranny mediation to look forward to over the next four years, amist the numerous variables that cannot always be predicted or thoroughly prepared for. Best wishes to President Trump and the incoming administration.

The New Year doesn’t just bring new resolutions, new opportunities, and new aspirations. It brings new politicians at many levels of government, and with them come new agendas and new alliances. Elected officials at the state and county level are sworn in the first week of January.

In Mohave County, local politics is more like a twisted adult version of musical chairs with the music playing on a broken record and contestants rarely exiting the game. District 3 Supervisor Buster Johnson literally set a record for holding the same seat for 28 years. But what use are term limits if city councilmen can become county supervisor, then state representative, then state senator, then county supervisor again? Incumbents often stay in positions of power because they’ve had years to polish their rhetoric with the huge advantage of a campaign war chest and name recognition, and not because they accomplished any meaningful reform while in office.

This January, “proud Zionist” District 2 Supervisor/Senator Elect Hildy Angius, who called a Mohave County resident her “mortal enemy”, will swap places with Senator/District 3 Supervisor Elect Sonny “the Gunny” Borrelli who once called District 5 Supervisor and former Senator Ron Gould “a lying piece of shit” in an expletive laden recorded conversation. Borrelli and Gould will now serve together on the County Board with Dist 1 incumbent Supervisor Travis Lingenfelter and newcomer District 2 Supervisor Elect Rich Lettman, who replaces Angius.

Exiting the Board are Johnson, and District 4 Supervisor Wilma “mean Jean” Bishop, best known for her reign of tyranny after declaring a non existent emergency and seizing power at the inception of the “COVID -19” scamdemic. Bishop will be replaced on the Board by her cousin by marriage, “doddering Don” Martin, who will retain Bishop’s Administrative Assistant Linda Owens. Politicians can be like a full deck of cards, sometimes when you shuffle a joker is drawn.

This new mix may make for a very interesting dynamic. Regrettably, the County doesn’t sell popcorn at public meetings, as that could potentially help bring income to the County General Fund.

I hope they all honor their oaths to the Constitution and act in the best interests of the We the People. If they don’t, you can count on reading about it here in the Mohave Free Press.

And on that note and in the spirit of “out with the old”, maybe local residents and advertisers should make it one of their New Year’s resolutions to ditch those legal notice filled legacy newspapers that charge you to read their content. May 2025 be your best year ever!

In a random act of violence, someone did extensive damage to the granite bench at the Firefighter Memorial Park, located at 2202 Detroit Ave in Kingman between the Fairgrounds and Tractor Supply.

The bench was created to honor six firefighters in the Henry family, and featured the phrase “A Family Tradition”. See photo of bench prior to vandalism below.

Formerly an elementary school playground, the park was renamed and rededicated as the Firefighter Memorial Park in honor of the men who lost their lives battling a propane tanker rail car fire and boiling liquid expanding vapor explosion on July 5th, 1973.

The deadliest firefighter incident in Arizona history at the time, also known as the Doxol Disaster, killed a Doxol Gas Company worker and eleven Kingman firefighters, including 28 year old volunteer firefighter Frank S.“Butch” Henry whose name was inscribed on the now demolished granite bench. The disaster injured over a hundred bystanders who had gathered to witness the fire, flattened buildings, and caused secondary fires. The full story can be read online at:

www.kingmanhistoricdistrict.com/points-of-interest/firefighters-memorial-park/the-disaster-story.htm

The park currently features a frisbee golf course and a sketeboard park, and is the park where people gather on July 4th to watch the fireworks.

If you have any information on who the perpetrator of the criminal damage to the granite bench may be, please contact the Kingman Police Department at (928) 753-2191

Charity Spotlight

With Munchkin the America First Pig

This month, Munchkin would like to introduce you to American Wild Horse Conservation (formerly American Wld Horse Campaign), an organization doing great work to help her hooved friends in the Black Mountains of Mohave County, and around the nation. AWHC is a non profit with a four star rating from Charity Navigator.

Did you know that despite legal protection, the Federal Bureau of Land Management (BLM) spends over $150 million each year to cruelly remove and confine tens of thousands of wild horses and burros

using helicopter roundups? That includes the wild burros right here in Oatman and the surrounding area, known as the Black Mountain Herd Management Area (HMA), which encompasses 1.1 million acres and includes public, State, tribal, and private lands. Only 478 burros are allowed on such a vast amount of land. The lifetime cost of housing these burros in government corrals is extimated at $51.8M.

The Black Mountain HMA roundup in 2022 captured 1,109 burros, and electric cattle prods were used to load them in trailers. This abuse was discovered and exposed by AWHC. Then in January of 2024, another 1,150 burros were rounded up by BLM, resulting in the death of two burros. AWHC has volunteer observers and documents these and other BLM roundups.

The Wild Free-Roaming Horses and Burros Act of 1971 was unanimously passed by Congress, and declared wild equines as “an integral part of the natural system of the public lands.” When the BLM conducted its first wild horse and burro census in 1974, an estimated15,000 burros roamed the West but fewer than 9,000 remain today.

America's wild horses and burros face numerous challenges, from habitat loss to inhumane treatment. As symbols of our nation's spirit and freedom, Munchkin says they need our support now more than ever. By taking action today, we can help safeguard their future and ensure they continue to roam wild and free.

AWHC is dedicated to protecting America's wild horses and burros, and their programs focus on policy reform, conservation efforts, and community advocacy to ensure these iconic animals thrive on public lands.

AWHC advocates for legislation in Washington DC to improve federal wild horse policy and to increase transparency. Their legal and investigations team protects wild horses and burros in the courts and exposes noncompliance with federal law and Congressional mandates.

In 2024, tax deductable donations made it possible for AWHC to educate millions of Americans about the brutal realities faced by our nation’s wild herds, expose the brutal realities of federal helicopter roundups, uncover inhumane conditions in government holding facilities, investigate the Adoption Incentive Program (AIP), and expand effective in-the-wild conservation initiatives.

From donating and volunteering to signing petitions, AWHC has practical and impactful ways for the average person to get involved in wild horse and burro advocacy.

Kingman Korner

Home on the Range By Elliot Chalew

Home on the Range is an iconic American folk song written by Brewster M. Higley in 1872. We all know the familiar words: “Home, home on the range, where the deer and the antelope play, where seldom is heard a discouraging word and the skies are not cloudy all day.”

In 1857, Edward Beale first trudged through Kingman, Arizona, with his experimental Camel Corps, and in the early 1870s, cattle were driven in to take advantage of the lush grasslands, making Kingman the home of the Open Range. In 1882, Lewis Kingman founded the city of Kingman as a railroad town.

When I look at Kingman, Arizona, today, I see some interesting historical similarities and abnormalities. Kingman has evolved in the grip of an ongoing crisis of urban development. The deer and the antelope are still around, but those who play are our local politicians, i.e., the Kingman City Council, for which the

town’s people always have a discouraging word, and the skies are very cloudy each day.

After the questionable passage of Proposition 417, Kingman’s new General Plan promotes radical uncontrolled growth, and Kingman’s citizens are disturbingly yoked with a huge “camel on their backs.” An alleged greedy developer, Angle Homes, is devastating our open-range grasslands into urban ghettos where the cows are lawfully still allowed to roam. However, today, Kingman’s people are the real “cash cows” being milked to subsidize the transformation of the open range into tight urban housing gridlock with a total disregard for basic infrastructure, safety, environment, or quality of life. The people of Kingman are being used, herded, controlled, and moved like livestock by the cattle dogs of both the city and the county government with absolutely no cattle guards to protect them.

Statistics prove that every new home raises each of our electric and water bills. The urban density is choking the unmaintained streets and throughways. People are dying every day because we do not have a sufficient infrastructure of doctors and medical services. We, the people, go through each and every day chewing the cud, ruminating the bad taste of indifference from city and county leaders, rich landowners, and railroading home builders.

Under the proverbial cloudy sky, the people of 2024 Kingman will no longer tolerate being played by establishment politicians. We refuse to be yoked by the camel being put on our backs or milked like cash cows. We can no longer tolerate being herded and controlled by conscienceless governmental cattle dogs. It is time to spit out the curd, establish our cattleguards, and take the open range back.

My name is Elliot Chalew, and I am a very concerned citizen of Kingman. I am not a cowboy, but I am a shepherd and a switchman with a passion for watching over, protecting, and helping guide the good people back on the right railroad track to safety, prosperity, and secure open-range quality of life.

Please join our community group, CAUSE (Citizens Against Uncontrolled Social Environment). Together, we can make sure the skies are not cloudy all day.

Rumor Mill

RUMOR: I just heard that there might be lead contamination in the Kingman water supply, are we the new Flint Michigan?

TRUTH: Kingman Public Works Director Rob Owen is quoted as saying “We don’t believe we have a lead problem here” and “We believe that in the next three-year period we’ll be able to verify.” Since the City apparently doesn’t know what materials were used in older service lines, and since lead is a known neurotoxin banned for use in pipes in 1988, you can purchase a “lead-in water test kit” from Home Depot for less than $9 with an additional $40 lab analysis fee or one of several at home test kits on Amazon for less than $20 and find out for yourself instead of waiting up to three years for the City to tell you the water is safe. Service lines found to contain lead are required by the EPA to be replaced within 10 years.

RUMOR: I saw a video that there was a triangular shaped UFO spotted in Bullhead City. Alien invasion or something man made like the drones that are being spotted around the US recently?

TRUTH: According to a media inquiry made to Bullhead City , the response was:

“On 11/29 at 19:28, a 911 call taker received a call in which the Reporting Party reported lights in the sky, believing they were UFOs/UAPS. The Reporting Party said the lights were north of the city. The Reporting Party could not give an address and said she was driving Southbound on the Bullhead Parkway, passing Silver Creek. She mentioned that she took a video.

The call nature was coded as "Suspicious activity."

We did not take action to investigate the lights in the sky.

We have no further information on this call.”

The Arizona Center for Investigative Reporting “fact brief” stated that “Geospatial analysis by science writer Mick West, an expert in debunking UFOs, suggests the lights—which went viral in a TikTok video—were projecting from a hill, not flying. The lights align with roads and were likely coming from cars or off-road vehicles.”

The widely shared 35 second video posted by AshleyRose on Twitter/X showed three small lights in a triangular arangement with one unusually bright light, which had a highly deceptive appearance, across the river on the Nevada side.

Internet sleuths on Reddit.com quickly began analyzing the video, and after using Google Earth to find the location, it was determined by consensus that when a still shot transparency from the video was overlayed on the day time view the three small lights corresponded with known roads and were likely car headlights. What was the really bright light that was not allegedly on Needles Highway? Who knows, but check out the website and read the debate to decide for yourself.

County Board Report

In the blink of an eye on November 18, 2024, the Board of Supervisors, short by Buster Johnson, approved to give County Manager, Sam Elters, a 5% pay increase. Supervisor Gould was the only opposing vote. During the October 21, 2024, BOS meeting, the supervisors voted to continue the propsed pay increase to the January 21, 2025, meeting for the newly elected supervisors to make the decision. Hildy Angius stated that the new board has no skin in the game, and the current supervisors must make the decision. Sam Elter’s pay will now be over $200,000, and he manages roughly 1,200 employees.

How does this compare? Starting with surrounding counties, La Paz would not provide the information without a public records request approved by their Board of Supervisors, and we could not make this request before going to print. Comparatively, Coconino County pays their manager, $220,375.22 with

990 regular employees and approximately 710 temporary and part-time employees.

MFP also decided to look at the city manager salaries of our three major cities:

Kingman Current Salary - $194,361 Employee count – 422/125

Lake Havasu City Current Salary - $232,644 Employee count – 518/181

Bullhead City Current Salary - $223,142 Employee count – 325/318

Facebook saw a lot of outrage surrounding the pay increase for Sam Elters. ZipRecruiter was used as the basis for suggesting Elters was extremely overpaid. It should be noted that ZipRecruiter’s data is derived from employer job postings and third-party data sources, which really doesn’t clarify how they got their figures.

Supervisor Johnson added an item concerning long-time Mohave resident Walter Spawr’s quest to bring the citizen’s rights to Grand Jury access back to Arizona. Spawr presented an proposed ordinance to the Board that would allow citizens the ability to present evidence directly to the Grand Jury when government breaks the law. Currently, in Arizona, the only protection provided to citizens who are victims of government would be through law enforcement, such as the Attorney General. County Attorney Matt Smith and Presiding Judge, Steve Moss, both spoke against Spawr’s presentation, citing court cases that didn’t actually pertain to his request. No action was taken on this item.

In a surprise move at the December 2, 2024, meeting, Supervisor Johnson attempted to bring back the Mohave Valley Power Park (“peaker plant”) rezone. Chairwoman Hildy Angius, who had previously voiced no intention of attending her last meetings as supervisor, attended via telephone for this item only. Johnson motioned to reconsider the item, with Supervisor Ron Gould seconding the motion. Supervisor Travis Lingenfelter, who voted against the rezone in November, voted against the reconsideration. The motion failed three to two.

Angle Homes was once again before the Board requesting a rezone for a couple of projects in the Kingman area. It’s been mixed results for the developer, who has seen a lot of opposition to their projects. Since Chairman Angius bailed on the remainder of the meeting, the Board had a tie vote on one of the projects and approved a second project, for up to 550 houses over 320 acres off of Southern Ave and Cherokee St.. Supervisor Travis Lingenfelter cast a dissenting vote.

There were two executive sessions that pertained to two County employee’s monetary damage claims. Valerie Medina and Brian Fruhwith both filed claims against the County and the Board decided to take no action to avoid being sued on either claim. We will keep you updated if civil lawsuits are filed.

Breaking Free From the Trance

by Don Spencer, CCHt

I have been a clinical hypnotist since 1983. My goal at the time was to simply help people that were stuck in false beliefs and limited thinking, by guiding them into a state of self-autonomy where they could think for themselves and not be beholden to the cultural trances that had captured their minds. These cultural trances have led to an endless list of behavioral misfortunes which the medical and psychological communities have capitalized and enriched themselves with.

The tools of conscious living, as presented here and applied by you the reader, will free you from mental enslavement. As you become well-versed and prepared to create ideas and goals with your own directed thoughts, you will also learn how to determine each moment through your own will.

Before you read any further, do not mistakenly think that in learning and applying these principles to your life, you will never again experience challenges. You will. The difference is that you will have much greater insight into the whys that are taking place around you, which will give you more clarity in how to

act.

We know from studies of the mind that consciousness is something that we can shape when we have the right tools. Since the beginning of time, man has used these tools to gain greater understanding of self and others. He has used them to further his progress as a species on this planet, and in many cases, he has used them to enslave others.

The Greek philosopher Aristotle once said, “Give me a child until he is seven and I will show you the man.” The first seven years are known as our formative years. If this is true then it begs the question, “What is truth and what is reality and who is the master programmer?” Do you see where I am going with this?

When properly applied, the skills you will discover will help you succeed in creating your optimal state of conscious living principles. This will create optimal states of awareness, through which you will start to become the best you can be in your personal life, in goal achievement, and in your relationships. You will also become healthier, not only in mind, but in body and spirit as well.

This is a simple introduction to a series of writings intended to give you the understanding and the necessary tools to break free from fear, doubt, anxiety, stress, pain and so forth.

Now, this is not intended to be an entire treatise on the social, political, and religious implications of such deeply embedded “trances.” Nor am I suggesting that all trances are bad. They are not.

Let's begin by reframing “trances” and instead, refer to them as “programs.” Just like a computer runs on programs and can only experience the world of reality based on what they have been programmed to accept, our minds and lives run on programs.

When you are born, your mind not yet fully formed, is known as the subconscious mind. Up until about the age of eight, all information or programs given to you are accepted blindly without any critical thought. This explains the myriads of belief systems in the world. It is all programming, everything. After the age of eight, your conscious mind begins developing rapidly, and you begin to apply critical thought to your actions. That's all good. However, remember that all information

Arizona Gold

by Mark Fargo

In our last edition I talked about some of the things it takes to get started in gold prospecting. In this edition I'll discuss many of the available small tools and equipment typically used by hobby prospectors. These items can cost between a few dollars and a few hundred dollars, depending on your budget and motivation.

These products will mostly be targeted for desert use here in Arizona, as we have such a limited amount of water, especially in Mohave County. However, there are “wet method” tools that can be modified to use in the desert, too. I will talk more about those in future articles.

Small Tools - Every prospector needs some basic hand tools to make their job easier and more efficient, depending on the type of deposit they are working. I'll go over these in detail.

Scoop. Whether you are going after placer or lode gold you will need a durable scoop, or hand shovel. These can be found just about anywhere for as little as a dollar. Please note, if you plan to do any metal detecting at all be sure to get a plastic or composite scoop. It is pretty obvious you do not want to use a metal scoop with your metal detector.

Shovel. Placer prospectors will do a lot of digging so you will also need a decent quality shovel in your kit. Some people opt for the standard #2 spade shovel. These are the large garden shovels found in most sheds. They have a wood or synthetic handle from four to five feet long and a round head shape. Others

prefer a smaller shovel, like a 0 or 00 size. They have smaller handles and heads and are handy for getting into smaller places but still allow for a good production. Some people like to have both, depending on the task at hand.

Bucket(s). Buckets are standard fare for any type of prospecting. They come in various sizes but most prospectors use five gallon buckets. This size can carry a lot of dirt but can be extremely heavy to move around. 2.5 gallon buckets are much easier to tote but double the trips you will have to make to get your dirt to whatever production method you plan to use.

Vacuum. This item is completely optional but is extremely handy to have. Even if you are a Zorro with your shovel, you simply cannot get into all the nooks and crannies of the bedrock, caliche or other 'false bottom' you are working. I use a small but powerful cordless hand vac designed to vacuum your car or other small areas. They do a fantastic job and are lightweight.

Pick/Mattock. Another indispensable tool you must have is a good pick. These come in various sizes and prices. I have tried many and have settled on a medium sized tool. It has a handle about three feet long and a curved triangular head about a foot long. The pointed end is good for digging and prying, the wide end is used for scraping. The medium size is good enough for production but still light enough to carry around all day. It is also highly recommended to attach a small rare earth magnet somewhere on the head to pick up any ferrous metals, especially when metal detecting. “Rare earth” basically just means it is much stronger than the ones on your fridge.

Jewelers Loupe. A jewelers loupe is a small, flip out magnifier used to spot micro gold in your pan or hard rock specimen. These are also a must have for any prospector. These are very cheap and come in various magnifications. Some even have a handy LED light.

Backpack. In addition to digging a lot of holes, prospectors also hike into places that can not be otherwise easily accessed. A very useful tool to have is a good quality backpack. The more pockets it has the better. Also, the more you can budget the better. It is also recommended to get one with waist and chest buckles, these will disperse a lot of the weight from your shoulders making it much more comfortable for longer distances.

Pry Bar(s). Pry bars come in various sizes from a few inches to several feet long. They have various uses including wedging large rocks/boulders out of the way to get to potentially untouched ground, which could expose a good deposit of gold. Keep in mind, however, that these bars can become prohibitively heavy the larger they are. Still, they are good to have around when you need them.

There are many, many more small tools available to prospectors but these are a few of the more popular and generally useful tools most prospectors use. In the next edition I will focus on many of the production tools, such as sluices, highbankers, pans, drywashers...etc. This is where all the fun begins, where we start the process of separating your gold from the raw dirt/ore.

In future articles I will also go over some of the finishing equipment used and how to DIY much of the production equipment at home!

If you ever have any questions/comments/suggestions, please send them to the editor-in-chief of the paper. Thanks for reading and heavy pans to all.

Mark Fargo is a former local radio broadcaster and has been prospecting for more than 30 years.

Off The Grid

How to survive in a modern world

In an emergency situation, or simply to shed a little light during this darkest time of the year, a healthier and cheap replacement for parafin candles is a vegetable oil lamp.

All you need is wire, twine, cooking oil and a glass jar or glass candle holder, things you probably already have.

Start by taking a piece of wire and make a coil about an inch or so round at one end. Straighten out the other end of the wire so it stands straight up. If you want two wicks for more light, have two straight ends with a coil for a base.

Cut your twine to be a little taller than the height of your glass jar and feed the wire through the center of it.

Place the wick in the middle of your glass container and fill it with standard vegetable oil. Coconut oil or other more expensive oils can be used as well. Trim the wick.

The type of wick you choose in an emergency could even be a cotton shoe lace, or other suitable material. For decorative purposes a commercially made waxed wick of appropriate thickness may be better.

Since oil burns slowly and floats on water, you can fill your glass container with water tinted with food coloring and topped with about a quarter inch of oil. I would soak the entire wick in oil or just use a conventional waxed wick before affixing it to the bottom of your container with a wick tab or hot glue gun. Then add in the colored water. Fresh herbs, gemstones, and other interesting objects can be placed in the water before adding the oil.

Have fun and be creative this holiday season. Design a stunning and colorful table centerpeice for your holiday feast to impress your guests. A mason jar works just as well as a punch bowl, but you can put a lid on the mason jar. Your local thrift store may have just the thing. Regardless of what you choose, the candle will burn for hours, and you now have a use for those unhealthy oils you probably shouldn’t be eating!

Remember to place your oil candle in a safe location away from pets and children where it is not likely to get knocked over. Do not fill it to the brim or you may spill the oil if you bump it. Caution, the glass may become hot to the touch. And never leave an open flame burning unattended. Always, think of safety first!
